True ac delco part. Good quality but seems over priced. Couldnt cost more than $2 to make this pigtail. But everywhere is high on these parts. Seems to work well.

Very easy to install. I emailed Dorman and got the install instructions to know where the brackets went. The responded quickly with a PDF of the instructions. Been on my truck for 2 weeks and haven't had the injector problem or any codes.

The LLY and some other models have a bulletin on the #2 and 7 injector plug. This is a perfect fit and solved the problem on my 2004.5 Duramax.

These will fix your injector issues. Had codes for cylinder 2. Replaced the pigtail and no issues since. Got a spare for cylinder 7 to keep in the truck.

One by one my injector pigtails are going out in my LLY.I bought this to previously fix #8 which was bad and making the truck sound like a John Deere and have a top speed of 10 MPH. Now the other bank is bad, I should have just sat down and done all 8.The "ice pick" method can get you by a few thousand miles but I expect these to last another ~275K, just like the originals.Why?-The gauge of wiring is same as the OEM's, unlike the thinner, imported ones-The connector casting is the same in thickness, unlike the thinner, imported ones.-The insulation of the wire is somewhat stiff, abrasion resistant, unlike the imported ones which are super bendy and IMHO will not hold up the engine bay environment.-You can buy the same white wire ones from your local Chebby dealer, so the GM techs are using them.

I got an error code on my 2005 Duramax that said that my #1 cylinder injector was not working properly causing my truck to run in the limp home mode. Research said that this injector connector was prone to failure. I pulled it loose and it looked bad. I removed it and replaced it with the new connector using solder and heat shrink tubing, The new connector was substantially better. Obviously GM realized they had a problem and fixed it. The error code cleared and I've put several thousand miles on it with no issues. I saved hundreds of dollars by doing this myself.

The item was perfect for what we were hoping was the issue. The initial problem we thought was a bad injector. This being the cheapest route we changed the pigtail leaving extra wire as a precaution. It was great as the pigtail comes with plenty of extra wire and connectors and is a perfect OEM replacement.
