In love with this . I actually use mine in my bathroom to put my makeup on when getting ready and my drink . Genius idea. I just move into our newly built custom home and I have marble countertops in my bathroom so this will protect it and it's clear so you really don't even know it's there. Cleans well too.

The board appears robust and long-lasting, thanks to its rubber dots that keep it securely in place on the countertop. However, its surface is notably slippery, causing fruits, vegetables, and other items being cut to slide around rather than stay put. Unlike a bamboo board, this one lacks grooves to contain liquids from fruits, leading to juices spilling onto the counter during cutting. While it does get scratched like bamboo boards, this can eventually dull knife blades. On the positive side, it doesn't retain odors and is effortless to clean, eliminating the need for regular oiling like bamboo boards. Its sleek and modern design adds a contemporary flair to any kitchen setting.

I leave this sitting on my counter all the time and just get the plastic cover out when I need it. I find that the cover slides badly so I put a damp paper towel between it and the plastic board underneath and it stays in place.

I bought this to use as a cutting board. First thing instructions say is that acrylic will scratch, so not to use it as a cutting board - use a cutting board on top of it. Itรขโฌโขs so slippery nothing will stay on top of it. . Also, donรขโฌโขt put anything hot on it. It does come with eight cute little button bumpers to apply to the bottom so that this item does not slip around. Five stars for the bumpers-they work really well. More like an influencerรขโฌโขs cutting board I guess. It looks pretty if you donรขโฌโขt use it.
