Update: When I wrote to them to describe that their paints were not very good quality, they reached out and offered to send me another box of their most up-to-date paint set (apparently they have older ones still in the warehouse that are still sometimes sent out). The newer paints came with more paint brushes and the paints were better quality. I am updating my review from two to four stars for that reason.I was excited to get started with my first painting supplies but I was disappointed to find the paints are not the best quality. When trying to layer on top of a background coating with white, I could see the brown color I was trying to cover underneath, even after several layers of white. This is the titanium white color, that is supposed to be opaque (not see-through). Many of the other colors are also pretty transparent and require a good number of layers and a lot of paint to be seen well. It comes in cute packaging and I liked the brushes and little instruction booklet, but the main reason I got this set was for the paint. It will probably work fine for you if you do not plan to paint in layers.

good starter kit for beginners

It’s ok the paint is not that grate on 3d printed t things . Have to give it a light coat and let it dry then put more coats . Very time consuming. I have other paints that in two coats it’s done not the case with this paint especially the light colors

This was a great set at a great cost. Packaging was great. no spillage. Nicely sealed. Offers many different colors. Bought this for my teen and he was pleased. I would highly recommend.

After many reviews and searching ended up buying this product. I am new to acrylic painting but these paints make it easy to learn to blend and use. The box that converts into a holder is perfect and helps keep everything neat and together. The color range is great. Recommended for all new painters.
