I'm pretty artistic but when it comes to acrylic painting, I'm a newbie. Yrs ago I was gifted with something similar but never knew you needed to pretreat the canvas. This time around after reading up on it I bought the base along with this pack. Color variety is pretty good if you know how to mix to achieve the color you want, so mixability is good! Value for the money, especially when you're a newbie coming in with a different medium than you're used to is amazing! Paint quality, only negative feedback I have is even though I do a very small amount & build as I need, it dries out quickly on the palate- so I suggest use it sparingly vs putting a big amount!

I love to try new crafts. I enjoy the challenge and I love learning. I just bought this to try acrylic painting and get it out of my system however, these are quality paints, and an overall good starter kit. I am now addicted to painted (I’m terrible at it but I love it) and this kit really made the transition into trying a new hobby very easy,If you wanted to dabble but not commit, try this kit. It’s a great way to try.
