I love to cross stitch and this is my favorite way to store my embroidery threads. It is also an easy way to pull threads for a project.

I absolutely love this way of floss storage. I have used bobbins for years, despite the fact they kink the floss toward the end of the skein, because of easy storage and the fact that the floss is protected in the bobbin case. I have not switched to floss drops because I didn't want my floss to be uncovered, a magnet for dust and cat hair. While storage of Floss A Way bags is not as easy as a bobbin case, I love that the floss is protected without being kinked and tangled around a bobbin. I have found that arranging them by number on a binder ring and storing them in a drawer or a box works great. Overall, these are the solution that I have been looking for to keep my floss organized and protected.

I like these, but use the rings to hold them in the past. No longer have the hole punch for rings.

I have gradually been switching from floss cards / bobbins to bags. As nice as the cases and cards are for storing floss, the fact remains that there's no escaping getting kinks and bends in the floss every inch or so when it is wrapped around the cardboard bobbins. With the bags I can pre-cut my lengths of floss and just roll them up and put them in the bags. No bends, no kinks, no problems. Each bag can be labeled with the number and color that is inside it, and the bags store neatly on rings or in a 3-ring binder. They're also a great way to keep your floss clean and protected while you work on a project. One note: If you have space issues, you might be better off with the bobbins and plastic cases. My floss takes a LOT more room in the bags on rings, but I have enough space that this isn't a problem. If I were in a small apartment or something, though, I'm not sure it would be ideal.Update: I ordered these again from a different seller, and received only one package of 100 bags instead of the two packages I paid for. Still following up on this. The bags are still excellent, so not changing my rating for them or the original seller I purchased from, but just putting this as a warning to pay attention to who you are buying from. It may not automatically be the same seller as last time!

As per title, I keep my floss for each project in individual floss away bags, on a hoop. Great way to organize floss when you're kitting up your own project (as opposed to buying a kit that has all the floss organized like Dimensions).

I use these bags all the time for my craft supplies. After much price comparison, this seems to be a very good value for the quantity of bags received.
