Originally got these for my husband who does a lot of physical work and couldn’t stand the smell of his work shoes smelling up the shoe closet anymore. I was curious if these would actually work as right of the bat they do not have any obvious odor to me, but they really are effective. My husband puts one in each shoe every night and they definitely do not have that strong lingering odor anymore.

Works great! Put in my work shoes that stay in a locker & has completely gotten rid of the smell.

Had an awful stink in my room, also my shoes stank. Bought these, and both smells went away! Not sure if they actually helped but hey, the smell's gone so I'm happy! They fit really well in shoes though, and the hangers make them really convenient.

Didn't seem to reduce the smells very well. Bags are solid, nice construction, but may hinder charcoal from doing the job.

I bought a pack of bamboo charcoal bags years ago. Bouth them with no real expectations but was absolutely intrigued at the concept. So the funny story goes: Brother left his car window open one early winter morning after we come home from a normal graveyard shift. Homeless guy sleeps in his car to stay warm. We go to work the next night and discover this fact because of the smell... I looked online for solutions and discovered these charcoal bags. And they work. Just about 3 days after the incident we no longer notice the smell.

used in an urban apartment, set on top of my indoor part of my split AC unit. Completely eliminates smokey street smell, I didnt even realize how much smoke smell in the apartment until I use these.

These work awesome!! I was wearing my winter boots all day at work with no socks so they got very smelly after a few days of this lol The charcoal actually draws the smell from your boot. It's amazing they're like new boots everyday! Highly recommend

Pensé que habÃa llegado mal, porque vienen un poco húmedas, pero en cuanto están activadas o renovadas empecé a notar la diferencia sobre todo en las habitaciones con más tema se respira fresco, y sin aroma, veremos en el transcurso del mes.

I think that they work but noting stunning. Effective yes but not in a way that makes me feel confident that they are doing the job. Used in an old airing cupboard they seem to remove the slight paint smell but not totally, hence 3 stars.

They're discreet, but I wouldn't say they work like magic. Considering I live in a city where sunlight isn't always easy to get, they might not be the best option. However, I can't say they don't work either.
