Wow! I love these! Due to a neighborhood fire, there was smoke in the air that made my clothing smell like smoke. I searched for something just like these, something that would remove odors from my clothing.! I bought these to hang on my hangers to remove the smoky smell from my clothing. They work beautifully. If you have clothing where you want to remove smells or just keep things smelling fresh, this is the perfect thing to get. I’m so impressed with the quality of the product, and I love the leaf design the best! It’s so pretty! I will be getting some more of these to hang in my husband’s wetsuit after he goes surfing!n

The odor absorbing vests came in perfect conditions with no loose threads or seams. The ribbons for hanging are securely attached to the charcoal packets. The design and size are as described, and the green leaf design on the burlap-style fabric is clear and crisp. The fabric is a loose weave, but no charcoal is leaking. It has no scent. The vests were not packed in an air-tight manner, so I left them out in the sun to refresh them (as suggested in the description). No directions were included, but the vests fit well on a standard coat hanger.

I ordered the Bamboo Activated Charcoal Odor Absorbing Vest for Hangers – Natural Purifying for Clothes, Suits, Shirts, Wetsuits, Jackets – Organic, 100% Natural, Reusable Moisture & Odor Eliminator (3-Pack), and I'm happy with them. I have been using charcoal bags for several years, and they have resolved issues that nothing else could in my home. I've had an old house smell that nothing could get rid of until I ordered a large bulk lot of different charcoal bags. You need to do the research on the square footage otherwise they don't work. Most need several 500gram bags. I would say one of these would work for a small closet, but they sell much smaller ones that fit in your hand, and I don't think that would do anything unless it was in a tiny drawer. This is a three pack, and I love the tropical design as well as the design. You could just hang them over a hanger and hide them. If your closet is tight I would make sure they have enough air to breathe so they can do what they need to do. I noticed these start working within 2 days, and in my experience all these years they work like clockwork for about 26 months. I thought it was very interesting when I started to realize I would smell the stinky house smell again and when I looked up when I ordered the charcoal bags it was a little over 2 years. You can recharge them in the sun, but sun doesn't come out often here so it's something I rarely do. I found that it's not necessarily required, which is great since I don't have that luxury in this climate. I also started to write in permanent marker the date I ordered them so I could keep everything straight. Obviously, if you don't use many of these you can just look up when you ordered them, but when you have so many you may want to keep track. Overall, I'm happy with these because they are different than other ones I have, are helpful, and look good, thank you.

These are large air fresher kits, although I'm not sure how effective they are. I put one in a musty basement and it hasn't done too much for the scent. However, it may be best suited for smaller spaces like a closet. I will try that next with hopes that it works. Importantly, it does not have a scent of its own - this was expected. It works as an air freshener / odor eliminator rather than a scent.
