We love these! We change them out one a year. They really do work! My husband is a smoker, we have three dogs and our teenager keeps her bedroom like a pigsty. When you walk in our home it doesn't smell like any of that. Our basement doesn't smell musty. Our camper smells fresh when we open it every spring. They are worth every penny!

It's hard to say whether or not this product is effective. I didn't notice any difference. The best I can say is that they are easy to use, and the little ties add convenience if you need to hang them. They are very simple and unobtusive in design, which is nice if you are using them somewhere they might be seen.

My new house (recently closed) always had an unpleasant smell, and I put these carbon packs in the cupboard, hoping it would help me get rid of the smell. The packaging is very beautiful, there is no omission, it feels very good.

I left two packs of this charcoal out for three days. This product did nothing for the odor in the room (soot smell caused by a fireplace). We used a few small (1 1/2 cups) of white vinegar and that took the entire smell away—but not the charcoal. Product was returned.
