About this item

  • KEEP YOUR BODY COOL: Thanks to an ingenious system using the principle of evaporative cooling, this bed cooler will help you sleep like a baby on hot summer nights. It will be your best companion to reduce hot flashes, night sweats and other sleep troubles related to menopause or pregnancy.
  • SAFE AND EFFECTIVE: No wires or electromagnetic waves here, the B10 uses a chilled water flow circulating through high-grade soft silicone tubes to cool down the mattress pad (by 7 to 12 °F) in the safest and most effective way.
  • SOFT AND COMFORTABLE: Made of 100% cotton, the twin size mattress pad of the B10 is pleasantly soft so you can enjoy maximum comfort for a good night of sleep. If necessary, you can even add an extra topper.
  • PAY LESS AND HELP THE ENVIRONMENT: This mattress cooling system uses only 8 Wh compared to 800 Wh for a standard AC which makes it really more energy efficient. It's a big saving on your electricity bill and a nice way to preserve the earth!

This thing works so well. I live in El Paso Texaswhere it is a hundred plus every single day it is so hot at night and I'm a big guy and I can't sleep because I'm so hot just covered in sweat I purchased this thing the very first night was so good I slept so well I did not get hot at all. The only thing I can say bad is that the hoses are very short it would help if they would add about another foot to 2 ft to the hoses that's it easy to set up nothing to it.

Edit 2* I reached out to the customer service team since there is supposed to be a warranty. They replaced the old one completely free of charge. So I feel very confident in this product due to how well they took care of this situation.Edit* I had to go from the lowest setting to the highest over time as it was not keeping cool like it did when it was new. Now even the coldest setting 9 months later is barely cool at all.So far I have had this for 3 weeks and it has been a game changer. You have 4 different settings for temperature and you can adjust accordingly. Just keep in mind that you do need to keep the container that holds the water higher than the mattress. If I had to nit pick, I would say that I don't really like having to refill it every other day. I also wish it had different size pad options to match your bed better. But I have never slept better than I have since I got this.I have an issue sleeping really hot. It's almost like my core temperature doesn't cool down when I try to sleep if I had to guess anecdotally. This cools my core for me and I sleep really well most nights now. At least by comparison to how I was before. For the cost, if it only lasted a year I would buy another one.

Product was great for about 6 weeks and after cleaning a 4th time it stopped cooling.

It uses about 1/2 gallon of water each night but I no longer sweat under the covers. Follow the care instructions, it well worth the time. I maintain my home warmer than I would like for my elderly mother. Now I don't have to use a window unit in my master bedroom! WooHoo!!

I did not realize when I got this what a hassle it would be to set up.The tank is supposed to be mounted HIGHER than the bed, which meant we literally had to acquire and install a shelf on our bedroom wall.Good thing we measured first, because our original shelf placement plan wouldn't have worked because the hoses are weirdly short. Also, it was tricky to secure on our (admittedly very deep) mattress and doesn't always stay put.All that said, it absolutely does cool the bed, though we're using it less than planned because of the need to constantly refill.

I haven't been able to sleep in ages, mostly because I wake up feeling hot. I thought this might work but it didn't. Even fully clothed with wollen socks, I still couldn't sleep because it was too cold.

Hi, **UPDATE BELOW**This is the 2nd unit I've bought (from a different seller), the 1st one lasted over a year for me, & it was great!!So when that one died recently, I bought this navy blue one, from this seller. All is good, it only takes 10-15min or less, to hook up & set up everything. So easy!As with other people whom use a tiny amount of bleach 1-2 times a month, I did that also...However, this time around I'll use a little LIQUID bleach instead of the powder I used...The bleach POWDER started to plug it up, -the last unit I had for over a year. That one worked great, & this new one helps me also.I have severe hot flashes, day & night, & I also have a disability too, so without this cooling unit, I had to sit dripping w/sweat almost 24/7, which makes my disability more difficult to deal with, daily...I used this NEW unit last night, I got it on sale, I put it on the lowest setting, & finally got some comfortable sleep, w/out sweating from my severe hot flashes...I was also able to sleep w/a blanket, too! I was so cozy last night, sleeping better, finally!!Before, w/out this unit, I was only getting about 2-3 hrs of sleep EVERY night if I was lucky...which is miserable for anyone; but w/this new cooling unit, I got at least 6 or more hours of sleep, FINALLY!!Had it on low last night, I filled it up about 80% w/DISTILLED WATER (adding distilled water is very important, so as to help keep the water cleaner, along w/ a tiny bit of liquid bleach). When my room was about 86° yesterday, it felt like this unit might not be cooling the bed enough,-but when my room was down to 80°, I found the lowest setting good for me for sleep.During the hot days, I turn it up higher, & also have 2 fans going in my room. Much better! YAY!Before, w/the 2 fans, I just kept sweating profusely from hot flashes & hot weather! So stressful & uncomfortable...So I'm thankful that I have a new unit & I'm so thankful that I'm so very comfortable now,- temp wise.Do make sure to have the unit several inches above the bed, & it'll work better & not leak. Also, if you accidentally keep over filling it w/water, the unit will leak sometimes, so I don't accidentally over fill anymore. It is wise also, to put the unit in a dish or something, in case of over flow. I use a heavy square glass baking dish to put my unit in; & I have not had any leaking water, but still, it's wise to put it in something, just in case.I wish I had this the last 10 yrs of hell from day & night hot flashes. It might sound funny, but this cooling unit is life-changing for me, -no more struggling to sleep from heat!!These cooling units will help many people, I feel, since it helped my severe sweating most hours everyday from hot weather AND hot flashes.I've now had this unit running 24 hours, & I HAVE NOT BEEN SWEATING EVEN ONCE, IN MY BED!! YAY!If you're suffering from little sleep due to heat or hot flashes, I hope you folks will give this a try, & if you don't like it for some reason, you can always return it.Have a wonderful day!! **UPDATE**Hi,So I've been using this machine for about a month now; I've been running it 22hrs/day, 7 days a week.No problems whatsoever, but I do need it on the highest setting most of the time, but no problems. I run a couple of fans day & night, along w/this bed cooling machine, & I can honestly say that in the past month, my only stupid hot flashes were when I had to get out to an appt or errands, & then I'd have bad hot flashes again...When I get home, I immediately turn the bed cooler on high, & my 2 fans, & within 20min, no more hot flashes! This works great w/fans.I used to use 5 fans in my room because of hot flashes, & I was perspiring almost non-stop, geez!!So hey, I'm really grateful to this machine. Oh! & btw, it runs EXTREMELY QUIET, which is so nice!I know this is a long read, but I know this will help others like myself.Take care!

I've been using this for a few months now, and I love it! As per the headline, it's simple and effective. As it works on evaporative cooling, the temperature it cools to depends heavily on the ambient temperature and humidity though, hence the mixed reviews in this regard. How it works (for those inclined), is just a tank of water, a pump and a fan. The pump pulls water from the tank at the bottom of the base station, pushes it through the tube that runs into the sheet, splits into multiple pipes in the sheet and back out of the sheet through the return pipe back into the top of the base. The water flows down over a paper-like filter, which has a fan in front of it. A small amount of this water evaporates which cools the water as it flows over the filter and back down into the tank, to be circulated around again. The controls allow you to adjust the speed of the fan, and how often the fan turns on/off. That's all it really is.But there are downsides (in no particular order):1. You have to top up the water before bed. - No hardship.2. It needs cleaning regularly, which can be arduous. This can be reduced by dropping some chlorine granules (hot tub supplies) in with the freshwater. Note: Don't use bleach or anything, it will bubble up inside the machine causing all of the water to slowly leak out overnight as the bubbles burst outside of the tank and run down the insides of the base. Ask me how I know!3. The fan inside is not *loud* at all but it *could* be quieter. When it fails, I'll probably replace it with a Noctua fan.4. The vibrations from the pump can flow through the pipes and into the mattress, causing a humming sound to reverberate through the bed, which you can only hear when you put your head on the pillow. I resolved this by making sure the inlet/outlet pipes don't touch the side of the mattress where the mattress is unpadded (where the springs are).5. Would be nice if the pipes were a little longer. Could add a coupling and extend the pipes I guess.6. You can feel the smaller pipes within the cooled sheet itself, they are soft and this does not bother me. With the exception that over time with use, the layout of the pipes inside the sheet can get a bit messed up and start crossing over each other causing lumps where they cross, which requires some finagling to resolve and get them sorted out.7. It should really be kept higher than the bed.8. There is no 'temperature sensing'. Ideally, you want to be much cooler at the start of the night, (the body temperature drop helps you to get to sleep more quickly), but then not so cool later in the night. There's no support for this, so it's possible to wake up in the night/early morning too cold! Also, the room might heat up overnight if your door and windows are closed, so you could wake up too warm because you went to sleep on a low setting. I might resolve this one day by hooking the fan and/or pump up to a raspberrypi, with a temperature sensor in the water but for now, it really isn't a big issue.9. The buttons are on the top... but the machine *should* be above the mattress... so you can't see what you're pressing without getting up - Annoying. There is a remote, I've never used it though so I can't attest to its usefulness or complain too much. The raspberrypi solution would resolve this issue.10. Mine came with a US standard plug. So I needed to buy an adapter. These all probably seem like they amount to a lot of bad things to have to put up with, but honestly, the only reasons this didn't get 5* is the lack of a temperature sensor and the cleaning routine.I use this every night and for the price, it's an absolute dream. The cost and simplicity of repair make it well worth it over other solutions such as paying for an 8Sleep subscription. or having your bed sheet moving about with those that blow air through the sheet.
