Honestly, these dumbbells are amazing. I used to hate dealing with those round ones where you have to press down on buttons to adjust the weights. This kure.fit adjustable light dumbbell set is a convenient space-saver for beginners of any gender. The mechanism for adding/removing weight works relatively smoothly. It would, however, be helpful if the disks had some ridges or other texture to make them easier to grip. It is sometimes challenging to twist a disk to remove it.These hand weights are nicely balanced and comfortable to grip. I would recommend them.

This dumbbell set consists of two adjustable dumbbells that can be set to weigh 2lbs, 3lbs, 4lbs or 5 lbs. The set also comes with twelve (½lb) discs that can be added or removed from the "base" dumbbell simply by turning a disc clockwise or counterclockwise onto or off of the dumbbell.The dumbbell and discs are fully encased in a hard thick black plastic and the non-slip handle is covered with a firm non-slip rubberized coating.The "base" dumbbell weighs 2lbs, consisting of an outer hard plastic disc on the ends of a rubberized non-slip grip handle to which they are permanently attached.To increase its weight: securely attach a disc (each weights ½lb) to both sides of the dumbbell by rotating it clockwise until it locks in place with a "click". It's as easy as that. This will add 1lb to the dumbbell.To decrease its weight: Carefully rotate coubterclockwise a disc (each weighs ½lb) from one side of the dumnbell until it separates from the dumbbell. Do this for the other side as well, super easy. This effectively removes 1lb from the dumbbell.This set is well made and feels balanced when held. It feels durable and I believe it should last a very long time. The rubberized grip handle is very comfortable.In my opinion, the only possible (minor) concern that I have is that the amount of force required to remove or add a disc to the dumbbell is very little, so there's the remote possibility that a disc could pop-off inadvertently. But even if it did, it only weighs ½lb, so it should not cause any damage. I think this is very unlikely, but I did think about this nonetheless. An improvement would be if the manufacturer required a little more force to add or remove the discs from the dumbbell.I think that this is a cleverly designed, adjustable dumbbell set that will serve the needs of anyone wanting dumbbells weighing 2lb to 5lb. Because this dumbbell is like having 4 different dumbbells in one, it is space-saving and money saving as you only need to purchase one dumbbell. I feel it's is a good value for the money and I highly recommend it!
