Prior to purchasing I had gone to my local REI and checked out some "high-end" paddles. I couldn't bring myself to spend hundreds as I'm still new to kayaking, but also loved the feel of the light weight carbon paddles. I also was unsure if I wanted a 220, or a 230cm pole.This scratches all those itches....its light, not as light as say a high end Werner, but significantly lighter than the aluminum poled paddle that came with my kayak!The adjustability is nice because I can play around with different lengths to see what works best, but it also introduces some wiggle into the overall feel of the paddle, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Its probably the nature of the design and unavoidable for an adjustable style, but it means once I decide on an ideal length I will want to upgrade to a set length pole. That being said for the price I am not complaining oo much, just a minor gripe.

I have used it side by side with some higher end carbon paddles and there is little diference. I think it is a great value. I use the adjustable legnth to accomdate diffenent kayaks and size paddlers.FYI- I am not an expert kayaker and have only used it lightly to date. I cannot judge its durablility.

I bought a paddle when I got the kayak, but it just didn't feel right. That's why I purchased this one to try. I absolutely love it though! It was like night and day difference in quality. Highly recommended!

I really liked the weight and adjustable features but all of that didn’t matter when the paddle snapped off. Definitely wouldn’t buy this product if you plan to venture outside of your pool. I really wish I could get a refund.

Havent used it yet but it looks good and came on time . I needed a longer paddle because im 6ft7 and sit high in a perception outlaw.
