This didn't work at all for me. The threads on the male outlet where the hose to the handheld shower attaches seem slightly off, and there's flat spots on the side that wouldn't be an issue if it screwed on properly. So the hose is squirting all over the place. I also found the joint to be really difficult to articulate. When trying to adjust the shower angle, the whole part turned, despite being properly tightened in the first place so it didn't need to be tighter, it just needed to adjust the arm part and it wouldn't go without bringing the whole thing with it. Price is fair, I was suprised it was this price and metal. If there's metal, it doesn't really matter because the rest is plastic so still reasonably fragile, I wouldn't use a wrench to mess with it. That'd crush it. You shouldn't really need a wrench if you have normal dexterity in your hands.

Overall I'm satisfied, however, I am not sure this is brass. The item feels like plastic with a metallic paint, but I guess I could be wrong. Overall, I am satisfied. We'll see how long it lasts. If I encounter any issues or determine it is actually brass, I will update review.

This is the perfect addition to hand-held showers that come without filters. We have very hard water and an older, but expensive hand-held shower head in the guest bathroom. Rather than change it, we added this and it fits perfectly.

Seems like it was going to work well, but when I adjusted the angle when using it, now water shoots out the back onto the wall. Disassembled, reassembled, same deal. Some reason its not sealing. Trash.the two stars go towards the metal construction
