How to choose the size?
Measure the window size inlcuding the frame,but if you want to stick the screen on the wall ,the size should expand more to the wall (the width of adhesive strap is 1inch). Then choose the fil size bigger than your size.
For example:
you need film 34' width X 40' height, you can choose 46X63in;
you need film 50' width X 60' height, you can choose 63X63in
you need film 70' width X 75' height, you can choose 74X79in

Used to upgrade insulation qualities of my enclosed single glazed lani. Home Depot's shrink kit that looks very a similar product is 0.019mm. Mellroom is 0.18mm thick. Did you see the trick? HD's has a 19 while Mellrom has only has an 18. But HD's has a '0' infront of their 19. That makes Mellroom's vinyl 9.47 times THICKER than HD's vinyl.Mellroom's vinyl is thick and for me created a better barrier to stop air movement and better insulation qualities. Plus, far more resistance to damage and tearing when I remove the vinyl with its velcro attached from the window to roll up for the summer. The adhesive velcro attaches OK to cold alumimum frames, but it could be upgraded to heavy duty adhesive for use on aluminum.Pro: Overall a great improvement, an easy to install product and economic insulator for the money.Cons: Amazon put a limit of 1 per customer which they then lifted, but only had a 1 small size in stock when I needed 5. So not having enough in stock at Amazon in the winter is a con.

Last winter, my spare room was so cold there was frost between the storms and the windows. This year, I installed Mellroom window insulation. It took about 10 minutes per window and was very simple. The outside temperature was nearly zero when I stuck the tape on the window frame and it's holding just fine. I also like the fact that this window insulation is reusable. The Mellroom insulation kit is so much better, the plastic is so much thicker, and the installation was so much less complicated than any product I've used before. If you have curtains on tension rods like I do, you can install the insulation over them. Easy-peasy.

Did this product work? Yes but it did not stay up. I cleaned all areas well where I placed the adhesive velcro but after one day it came undone. The plastic is very thick and definitely is a temperature insulator. The velcro is pretty good quality and does stick together. First tip I would give is to go over on every side with the plastic. It is not cut straight and you will be adjusting the whole time if you try to line up any corners. Definitely do not pull too tight. The adhesive is not the best so any tension will take it off the wall and youll be replacing it constantly. Dont expect it to look perfectly tight and flat but if you get it up and stuck well it will definitely keep any heat or cold you want to stay.

Very disappointed, was super excited about this product. Installed in in 2 windows, seemed to stay ok. Ordered more, for the rest of my windows & waited a while to install as it stayed warm. Then it got cold so installed them in the rest of windows, they seemed to stick good upon installation. By morning every single window had peeled off the wall. I tried to restock them, they seemed to stick back to the wall; but by the time I got back from work they had all come off again. And off course I tried to return them and the y were no longer eligible. Very disappointed. Spend a lot of money & useless... going to possibly have to nail them in to the wall:(

I put these on my basement windows and the stickiness of the Velcro didn’t last that long. I tried to stretch them tightly to make it look clean, but it was hard to keep it flat, and the adhesion to the wall came off after a while breaking the seal.

Estoy encantada. Lo he comprobado recientemente con el vendaval que hizo. Ademas de tapar la parte de abajo de mi ventana, lo que me sobro lo reutilice en unas rejillas de ventilacion por donde entraba muchisissmo aire. Y uala, se acabo el aire....Hace su funcion.

Bought this for an old basement window that was condensing through the winter after I installed a whole home humidifier. I was able to get it installed on my own without much fuss, and it made a significant difference in reducing (although, not eliminating) condensation on the window. Definitively worth it until I get around to replacing with a newer window.

Me encantó, plástico más grueso que la “ burbuja†y muy eficiente que se pueda quitar y poner sin problema gracias las cintas de Velcro, recomienda adicional reforzar el pegado del Velcro con cinta doble cara: si lo pones en pared con textura o pintura normal ya que tiende a despegarse por lo mismo.
