Doesn't look that great, dings and dents from manufacturer. But was cheap and will be outside anyway.

This is a great tool for picking and moving coals in your BBQ grill. It's the perfect shape and long enough to avoid burning your hand. This is nicely made, heavy steel. It has no problem with handling coals. I don't know if you should leave it out in the rain. The wooded handles need to be protected if you leave it outside. Overall this tool made more sense to me than the scissors-type devices. I'm glad I have it.

These charcoal tongs were a complete waste of money as they're way too flimsy to pickup anything more than a single briquette at a time. I use lump and wood splits pretty often and these tongs can't handle either of those very easily, so maybe that's my fault for expecting more from SnS. If you are considering this, I would pass and get a more durable product. This is still okay for poking at the briquettes, but not for picking them up and moving them very easily, which is much more desirable.

Simple and straightforward design. The bent tongs make it easy to pick up and move hot coals off to the side without having to hold your hand over the heat as you might with straight tongs.

I bought these more to use to move charcoal around, and they work great for that. Long handle, easy to grip, etc. I thought they would also work well to move meat around on the grill as well..... not so much. These bend easily and just don't look right when you try to bend them back. I wish they were made out of a bit sturdier steel as it would have been nice to be able to use them as tongs for moving meat around as well. A good sized steak will bend these like stretch armstrong (only he goes back to original shape!). They aren't labeled as meat tongs, and just as charcoal pickers, so I guess I can't be too hard on them.... would have been nice if they were just a little stronger though.
