Great quality and interesting, unusual, vibrant color that worked very well for my project. Hopefully it won't bleed when I do the final wash.

I was surprised, frankly. It's not stiff, woven evenly without flecks or flaws, easy to stitch on. I used one strand, and the coverage was just fine for me. I wish it came in more colors! I haven't washed it yet, but I feel it will be fine...if not, I will update.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality! I got the Navy and it is a beautiful perfect shade of navy blue. The holes are perfectly clear...no extra stringy weird unclear holes like some of the aida that's found on Amazon. I will definitely return to buy more. Great quality and price. It is stiff with some softness...so it's not overly stiff but a good amount to help with getting those good clean even stitches.

Slightly stiff for what I like usually but very nice to practice and smaller projects I’ve already ordered another.

These have less starch than others and are made of 100% cotton so are easy to work with.

I'm grateful I picked this Aida cloth as a dark background for a two-tone floral design. It's holding up well to repeated 🪡 stabbings! The fabric is strong and the weave is consistent. I'd highly recommend this product.Tip:18 to an inch is fine-toothed! It can be extra challenging to see the weave at times when your Aida cloth is black. I'd recommend a goose-neck light that's close to your hands to illuminate the squares when stitching.

I bought this because I needed a longer piece of 18-count black aida for a project and couldn't find any local options. I was a bit leery about it because some of the reviews suggested that it was smelly or poorly cut/woven, but I was relieved to receive exactly what I ordered -- no odours at all, and the weave is nice and even. It's about as stiff as any other aida I've used; I had no trouble getting it into a hoop, and it softened up somewhat as I started to work with it.My only complaint is that it came folded rather than rolled-up, and the creases from that were super-deep. That one issue aside, this is good fabric at a very good price, and I'll definitely buy it again if I need more with these specific dimensions for another project.

product was just as expected. Nice dark black colour, and the aida was thick and felt good quality.

I'm a little confused by some reviews saying their pieces were stiff in the beginning because mine certainly isn't. It's actually a lot softer than I expected as I've mostly used DMC's aida fabric before. Very nice to hold, easy to move around. My only concern is that it isn't exactly 18 ct, more like 17? I needed to actually count out my stitched when I first set it up rather than relying on a ruler. It's pretty tightly woven so it can be hard to see where I need to put my needle and, since it's so soft, it's kind of easy to leave large hole unintentionally if you pull to hard (stretching the holes). I've started getting used to it and I know it's going to be a pretty piece either way. I may try to buy a larger count to see if it's similar but, all in all, it's a pretty good product for the price!
