The filter is just as advertised, a combination filter which addresses odor and traps grease. It fits well and functions well.

We like this range hood filter because of the quality of its material, the charcoal layer, and fit on our range hood. The filter is made of high-grade aluminum and is sturdy. The charcoal filter is thin enough to allow a good fit into the range hood. The price was higher than other brands, so we opted for a more basic filter at a lower cost. Regardless, the higher price may be worth it, if you're looking for features not found in basic filters.

Bought this a second time and i have to say that this filter works very efficiently. We cooked indoor most of the time and this was extremely helpful sucking all the smoke when we are frying stuffs.
