This hood filter didn’t fit my hood initially, but I cut it to size and installed it. My hood tends to get greasy quickly since I do a lot of cooking and frying with oil. Ever since I started using this, my hood fan has stayed clean with no oil stains.I simply cut and stick the filter inside the hood, and it effectively absorbs all the oil. For maintenance, I clean my hood filter once a week using just water and dish soap. Overall, if you want to keep grease away and avoid a messy, oily hood, this filter is a great solution.

My range hood filter size is impossible to find. Custom made is more than I'm willing to pay. I used this carbon filter and an oil filter cloth to make my own. The carbon filter is slightly thicker and denser than expected. A happy surprise for sure.
