Both wires on the sensor were black and they cannot be mixed up. I was able to look at the old plug and figure out which one was which.

The pug they sent with the sensor does not seat far enough down to clip so it actually will not work properly

Wires are Brown and white, not red and black. I assumed brown was the positive.
