Easy to set up, but definitely get a plumber involved. May cost you $100. But well worth it. Just buy some extra filters so that you don't get stuck without them in case this stops selling. But you can definitely see that there is must less hard water stains in the house. We have this in addition to our softener.

Fantastic whole house water filter. It was easy to install, because we were just replacing an old filter system. It seems to really clean the water, and it's well water, so that's really helpful. It is so much better now than it was

Maybe I got a bad one. But the main o ring seal was too large. Had to freeze it to make it work. After the first time changing the filter the o ring was too large to reinstall. Had to by pass the filter until a new o ring came in. 2 weeks. My advice, ask for more o rings.

We were about to move and I got these for the new house (have similar one at current house). Due to some unforeseen realtor probs we did not move yet and therefore have not had the pleasure to officially use yet. From what I have looked at they are well made quality filters that I look forward to using. Installation looks to be typical for these.

Had to return this product. Could not for the life of me stop the NPT inlet to stop leaking, not correctly sized, got another one of the same size locally and it was fine.

This whole home water filter is easy to install and works great! I am able to tell a huge difference in the quality of my water. Has helped to soften my hair and skin and the tapwater taste much better.

I ordered this Whole-House Water Filter Housing for my primary residence. My two existing inline sediment filters are blue, so it is difficult to determine when to change them. I have been replacing the filters every three months, whether they need it or not. When I saw this transparent filter housing available, I jumped on it immediately. Now, I can see the condition of my first filter and change it as needed. Besides being transparent, I like two other features of this product.First, the double O-ring design is a welcome improvement because I have had trouble with single O-ring housings.Second, the pressure release button is another welcome improvement that makes filter changing easier. My installation was more straightforward than most because I swapped out one of my existing filter housings. If you are uncomfortable doing plumbing, I suggest hiring a professional. Some might consider this excessive, but I will put it out there. Purchase two filter housings to implement two-stage filtration. Put a 5-micron filter in the first housing and a 1-micron filter in the second housing. The first filter traps big particles, and the second traps smaller particles. It costs more to do it this way, but the water coming into your home will be a little cleaner. The pictures I included show two filters after three months of use. The dark brown pleated filter is 5 microns, and the light brown woven filter is 1 micron.I am delighted with this product and recommend it to potential buyers.Note: Pay close attention to the size of the water lines where you plan to install the filter. These inlet and outlet fittings are ¾ inches. As far as I can tell, this supplier does not offer 1 inch, so you must find a different brand.
