Identical in every way to the original and actually came in a Aisin box. I tested it maybe a dozen cycles in 190 degree water and it performed flawlessly. Vehicle temperature no longer fluctuates.

I finally began working on my car. I took the new thermostat out of the box, only to discover that it had been used and someone had returned it. Unfortunately, I can no longer return it or replace it because the deadline has passed.

Who's going to go to the work of replacing a thermostat and not replace the gasket? This should be standard equipment when buying a thermostat. Maybe some of the mechanics out there will say differently, but now I need to track down just a gasket.

Fixed overheating issue on 2000 honda civic. Same as oem part. Does not come with new gasket.

Fits right and only thing you may need is a new gasket, but I just reused mine and it works perfect.
