As the title states, this is too large for clamping a 2.25†O.D. pipe. The T bolt actually snapped off while tightening down around a 2.35†pipe even though the nut was only half way down the threads. I was using a 1/4†ratchet with a 10mm socket, so it was definitely not user error. I’m assuming that this could work on a 2.25†pipe if the manufacturer bothered to send the flanges that accommodate this product, but since they didn’t, I guess I will never know. Don’t waste your time buying this clamp, it’s poorly made from cheap materials and does not include everything you need to make it work. I suppose if you have the ability to flare a 2.25†pipe, this might work, but I’d assume that if you’ve got the resources to do that, you’re probably not buying generic V-Band clamps to begin with. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Ground off the old flanges leaving a lip on each exhaust piece. Put a bit of heat-bonding exhaust tape over the joint and then the clamp. Worked great.

Bought this to replace a v clamp on a gas tank that is now obsolete this is way more durable and clamps well

Between EGR and Particule Filter,Fit great, seems better quality than stock, however the stock never failed until I had to mess with it.
