Just what I needed to install my 2" soffit vents to keep the birds out. The wholes were a little small. This did the trick nicely. Very heavy duty and tackles the wood with no problem. Reams from 3/8" to 2.002" according to my micrometer. A+

I'm moving a few steam radiators and had to cut, ream, and thread a few 3/4 black iron pipes. Based on this tool's description, it is supposed to work on metal, and is must less expensive than the Rigid spiral reamer.It does work, if you go slowly with a lot of pressure, but I found it difficult to use: the straight cutters will catch and bind or spin and do nothing, and seem to wear out quickly by the time I reamed the third 3/4 pipe. On a whim, I tried a deburring tool that I purchased for another project and found that it worked faster and better.Perhaps this tool is for plastic and wood, but I wouldn't buy it for black iron pipe.

no problem reaming pipes on with this. You got to slow down or you'll take to much off
