I had bought some other straps last summer. After struggles with those to stay tight, the seams ripped out as our one friend was using it to climb in. All of them faded quickly and I really did not have the top off that often.These Alien ones..... wayyyyy better. Sturdy staps and velcro. Fastened well and not complicated. So far they have been fantastic without any complaint. Feel and look good and excellent holding strength. Too early to tell on fading buy my expectations are already higher based on the quality I have seen so far.

These grab handles are a great addition to my Jeep. I had solid grab bars but my daughter kept hitting her head on them, so I got these handles for the back seats. They are sturdy and easy to use and install. The only issue I ran into is that, with a soft top installed, the bracket for the soft top is in the way of the solid back of the handles. There isn't enough room between the rear speakers and the bracket for two of the Velcro straps to fit, but if I only put one between the speaker and bracket, the handle is too far back to be useful. I ended up turning the straps do the the backing is facing inward, and not in the way of the bracket. But it still bunches up a bit between the speaker and bracket. It's still effective and there is no loss of utility. I love the handles. It just took a bit of thinking to get them installed.

They are great looking handles but the buckles are all plastic and break pretry easy. I had another brand with metal buckles and rook off the parracord handles and put on the other brand I had. Looks good and works great now.

Easy install, fit over roll cage covers, sturdy. I can pull on them with quite a bit of force and they don’t budge which surprised me when I saw they were Velcro. Mostly they look great and add more of my accent color while working good enough since I don’t plan on using them to save my life as I hang out a Jeep door on a mountain edge any time soon like some other reviewers seem to be doing. ;)

The fact that my teenagers took one from the front and installed it in the back without me knowing should tell you everything. Easy to install and remove. Don't interfere with side window or vision. Look great. Apparently teenager approved.
