About this item

  • One of the top features found in the Cele III is the injected comp weave quarter package. This technology offers moderate stiffness with enough flexibility for the recreational to intermediate player. With this flexibility, you can work on your stride while also being comfortable in your skate.
  • Another solid technology offered is the molded comfort EVA footbed. This feature, complemented by the Cele’s microfiber liner, helps to maximize comfort inside the boot, an important feature for those players who skate infrequently but want to get the most out of their skates when they do. Anaform padding is also included in the Cele III, offering an increased level of protection around the ankles. This material provides an extra layer of comfort, working well with the microfiber liner.
  • On the bottom of the skate, Alkali used a Hi-Lo aluminum 6000 CNC frame chassis with copper rivets for a higher level of performance. With this popular frame design, you get the best performance benefits of both sized wheels. The Cele III features Hi-Lo Outdoor Alkali Loki 82A wheels to complement the benefits of the chassis, providing a solid balance of speed and control with every stride. The bearings included are high end pre-lubed ABEC-9 speed carbon bearings.
  • Skate sizes 1-2 come with a 64/64/68/68mm wheel Hi-Lo setup, sizes 3-5 come with a 68/68/72/72mm setup, sizes 6 and 7 come with a 72/72/76/76mm setup, and sizes 8-12 come with a 76/76/80/80mm setup.
  • The Cele III skates are much lighter than the competition weighing 1,140 grams (based on skate size 9).
  • The right sized skate should be 1-1.5 sizes smaller than shoe size. For example, if a size 9.5 shoe is worn, you should get an 8 skate.

Product Description

Alkali Cele III Inline Roller Hockey Skates

New for the 2023 season, the Cele III Inline Skates are built for all types of skaters who are looking for a high-performance comfortable and durable skate. The unique boot one-piece construction provides some of the best ankle support at this price, while the thick internal foams make for a comfy feel right out of the box. With a one-piece boot it naturally wraps around the foot and thick ankle foams that lock feet into place, this skate is ready-to-play right out of the box. On top of the foot, players are protected by a pro-inspired felt tongue that prevents lace-bite and wards off game-play impacts. The tongue and the rest of the boot are head moldable, so make sure to bake these at home before you skate for a truly personalized fit and feel that improves comfort and reduces break-in time.

I play only about 2 times a week due to my schedule. Definitely didn’t need high end skates but wanted quality. I used to wear Tour but it seems their quality level has gone downhill. This is my first time with Alkali, and I am very impressed. I wear a size 10 shoe so I ordered a size 9 skate. The fit is nice and snug and very comfortable. My big toe slightly brushes against the toe box. Very good ankle support. My rinks around here are smooth concrete and the wheels give you good grip. The only thing I would change is the bearings. Don’t get me wrong, the stock bearings are not horrible, but as with many budget type skates, an upgrade makes a lot of difference. All in all I am very happy with my decision to go with Alkali.

Very good bearings, they do run small so size up. I’ve owned many pairs of hockey blades over the years and these have some of the better bearings that I’ve felt. Wheels are durable outdoors. I use them for paved trail riding and I’ve had no troubles. Only pitfall I have with them is they do have very little ankle support, but if you are an experienced skater you shouldn’t have problems.

After trying alkalis in a size 11, which I normally wear in Bauer, they were too small. So I sized up in these to a 12. My shoe size is a 13. Expect a snug fit and get ready to heat mold them for sure. Other than that I think it’s a beautiful skate. Looking forward to customizing them and taking them out for a run!

Boot has solid support. Boot did not warp or become misshaped from intense pressures and force. Fairly comfortable. Bearings and wheels seem to be better than expected at this price point. Overall is a very good skate at price point. Feels like similar to a skate in the 250 price range. Also feel very similar to my old Bauer vapor xr1 skates

Good skates for a good price. The wheels that come with it are for outdoors (cement)If you want to use them on a roller rink with roller hockey tiles, Buy inline wheels. They’re only 20-30$

If you're a new skater, avoid these. There are super stiff with a very rough break in period. It's very hard on the ankles because it's to stiff to tighten for support. I imagine an experienced skater would love these. The inside padding is soft and pretty comfortable. The Wheels roll amazing and smooth thanks too the ABEC 9 bearings. The wheels being 82A makes them really good for sticking to indoor floors but don't offer quite enough softness for outdoor, although it's not unusable outdoors. My Final Suggestion is if you buy these, your gonna wanna stuff water bottles into the toes and leave then over night to open them up, out of the box they pinch your toes and cut off circulation.

Received my pair today and am very impressed. After reading some of the reviews, sizing up is absolutely a must. My Hockey skates are a size 9 and I wear a size 9 to 10 shoe depending on the brand. If you wear a size nine Vans sneaker then order the size 9 skate even thought it says for size 10 shoe. My big toe just hits the end of the skate. The toe box in the skate is nice and wide so lots of room for your toes to move and flex. No pinching. The boot construction is solid for the price point and very comfortable. A great option for your first pair of skates. Not sure how durable they will be in the long run but since I am not playing hockey in them they should last a long time.

You most certainly can't stop like you can on ice skates... I've now ordered crutches on Amazon as well, and I'm off work for the next two days...
