I know nice and think seem like an odd headline, but I wanted a carb hat that I could drill a 3/8 NPT in so I could attach a brass fitting so I can do vacuum leak tests. This works perfectly for that. Very happy.

Works and fits as it should. I'm happy I made the decision to get the Delux cap over the other one, this one has good weight to it over plastic caps and I believe will last the lifetime I have it. The rubber oring at the bottom adds a desired sealed effect. IMCA Stockcar.

Well worth the cost. I previously purchased an Allstar carb cap but in black plastic. For whatever reason it actually did not fit my Holley 850XP. The base of the cap was too small in diameter.This aluminum unit fit AND sealed up perfectly. It is also thick and heavy. Quality made piece.

It's a little overkill for what it is. It's heavy and expensive, but it works. It is exactly what I thought it was going to be when I bought it.

Very thick casting with nice finish machining. I bought it to weld on tubing to make a blow through hat, it welded but was some of the worse aluminum i have welded. So i do not recommend buying it with intent to fabricate with, but it is an outstanding carb cover.
