This instrument will most likely work with any DMM that has a Hz (frequency) setting. I have tested this on a Fluke, Agilent and a cheaper Mastercraft handheld meters to set idle speeds of small engines I own. Averaging helps to get a more consistent result.

used as replacement for older craftsman timing light.in use a little awkward to slide open jaw to attach to plug wire, especially in tight marine applications.otherwise decent product

I was able to use this to repair my timing light that had a damaged plug.I put the insides of the old plug into this assembly. Everything fit with some modification and cutting.

This does not work with several DMMs, one is a tacho dwell DMM and the other a standard DMM that does frequency. Useless "investment". Should have just burnt my money.
