I am a dealership mechanic specializing in electrical and I have never been able to wrap my head around paying the high price for a fluke multi meter so I found this OTC meter and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical from one person's review on here about "cheap Chinese garbage" however the meter has proven not to be that. That dude probably needs to buy a fluke... Anyway this meter has been accurate, reliable and not seemingly cheap. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

This may be perfectly operational (if you have plenty of light) but there is no backlight and you are not able to return to sender without PAYING (literally)!

OTC usually has great products which is why I didn't hesitate to buy this meter. Unfortunately my test leads aren't up to par since the resistance changes as the wires are moved and the voltage occasionally does the same. I use this in automotive testing and getting accurate readings is a must.

Very accurate and it has held up in professional shop environment but when under hood or inside vehicle can barely see screen because it is not back lit. if it was not so accurate this dmm would be useless in a pro shop. a dmm should have a back lit screen

THIS MULTIMETER IS ANY ,BUT HEAVY DUTY.HEAVY DUTY JUNK RIGHT OUT OF THE PLASTIC CLAM SHELL IT CAME OUT OF. OTC should be a shame to put their name on such GARBAGE! This a dime store work of art CHEAP AND FLIMSY.There is no quality on this one at all.
