Love this for cheese or garlic. Small, fine pieces. Easy to work with, good sturdy handle. I like how it comes with a cover so you don’t you h the sharp parts when digging in your drawer for it

As someone who absolutely loves garlic this has been a life changer. I made so many recipes that call for grated something and this works so awesome. A little hard to clean since the grater pieces are so small but definitely worth it.

This is my first microplane and I have to give it to them, it's super sharp, the holes are appropriately sized, the handle is very comfy and ergonomic, and it has the helpful little lip to brace against a pot or dish. I've had it for a few months now, and after multiple uses I can see no obvious wear and tear, and the blades all still same sharp.The one downside I think, is that it seems like the cover should slide on and off, but you can't do that. Or the teeth will bite into and shred through the plastic, hurting the cover, potentially the blades, and leaving a little bits of plastic to end up in your food. Very easy solution of not sliding off the cover, but simply pulling it off, but in my opinion the little tabs make it seem like you should be able to.

I was hoping this would be okay for my summer home but for the price my hopes weren't too high. What a nice surprise to find this sturdy, all metal (except for the comfortable handle) zester/grater works beautifully. It grates garlic nicely and is excellent for citrus zest. It even has a plastic cover so you don't scrape your fingers rummaging for tools in the drawer. It's so much nicer than the more expensive mostly plastic tools. I'm buying another for my other kitchen.
