I’ve used my chafing dishes several times and have no complaints. They work perfectly and are easy to set up. The only issue is with the holders for the fuel cans—they can be a bit tricky to open and close, and the sliding covers over the cans are somewhat fragile. I’ve broken three so far, but they aren’t essential, so it’s not a major problem. For the price, I highly recommend purchasing these chafing dishes. Also, I have seen reviews that say the pans burn on the bottom. I haven’t had any problems with burning. Just make sure you add water in the water pan and you set the heating cans as directed and you shouldn’t have any issues.

I was afraid to purchase these due to the bad reviews. However , they came well pack and new condition. They are stable, and keep food warm. After I finish my party, I stocked the trays together and was afraid not being able to separate them, but It was not the case, I was able to separate them without much complication. Make sure they have water all the time, otherwise they will burn, but even the most expensive ones will if they run out of water. The burns from the bottom was easy to take off with some Ajax powder cleanser.I do recommend these chafer set. If you want something of a better quality, then pay for it. But these did the job.

I've used this same kind of chafing dish in a commercial dining room for years. It holds up wonderfully. I needed a set for family events & this was priced right. Surprise! It came with 4 shallow hotel pans (about a $70.00 value) included. Yay! The reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 was, the water pans arrived stuck together. I tried the hot water on the bottom/ ice in the top pan- nope, didn't work. Tried to gently pry them apart with 2 long handled screwdrivers-nope. It took my husband gently tapping a wood shim into all 4 sides to loosen each enough to pry them apart. Yes! Edges are sharp, so wear gloves. I'm still very happy with my purchase, even with the hours spent dealing with the pans. I figure they got smashed together during shipping. They come in a large very heavy box.

I purchased these for Thanksgiving Dinner. They are durable, fit just right on my counter, easy to install. Not too thick or bulky but just right. I love how it breaks down and right back into the package to store away. It also holds nice amount of food and keeps my food safe and hot. No complaints, happy shopper! Will purchase again!

We ordered 2 sets of these chafing dishes (8 total), to be able to do some catering on rare occasions. We also use 2-3 units at a time, a couple of times per month when 10 friends come hang out on a weekend. These things do just what you expect them to do.The legs fold-up for storage. You MUST lock the long tray under each chafing dish, or there is a good chance that a chafing dish will DROP on one side, when someone is wiggling the pan to get food out. I would respect if someone does not like the DESIGN of hooking-in a little tab, onto each leg under the chafing dish. However, that is how the units work. I personally, like the design. Over the months, if someone else is helping out and sets up any chafing dish to help me out - I always, always check to make sure that the tray is properly hooked-in with the support legs.The actual chafing dishes, and the overall pan are very decent quality. I have no complaints about any of the 8 units that I purchased, and would recommend these to anyone. They are just what I expected, and are rather classy and good for a formal event (we will use for a $45/person wedding in a few months).

I first ordered a used set but it had some burn marks. Probably the user before me (and many users who gave a one star rating) set the product up the wrong way. The shallow tray used for food was burnt which means they used that tray to hold the water and burnt it instead of using the deeper tray, and probably turned the candles on without filling it with water first. The second set I ordered was brand new and functioned exactly as intended. The edges might be sharp as other pointed out but wont cut you on touch unless you rub you accidentally fingers on them. Some pointed that the holding legs are flimsy but if you actually attach the candle holding tray at the bottom it will act like a scaffold and make the unit very sturdy. I used a small piece of styrofoam board between the deep trays for storage so they would be easier to separate for future use. Overall this product is high quality and at a bargain price.

High quality chafing dishes and pans. Used to cater a company BBQ. Lots of comments about how professional they were. Kept the food warm more than 6 hours.
