This was a gift for my aunt. Alpine sent directly to her in another state. My Aunt said the ball was sturdy and had purple petals that accent her living room, deco, beautiful. Packaged very well for shipment! Jenny Alpine customer service representative was very helpful with answering my question and completing my order.

Beautiful globe. It’s thicker & sturdier than expected, which is great because it’s outside in the elements. I purchased the stand separately which seats the globe perfectly. Love it!!!

Beautiful globe! The photos on Amazon don't fully display its real beauty - you'll not be disappointed! Just an FYI, though - the globe is about 8.5" in diameter on the portion you see rather than the 10" size mentioned.. The neck has a protective cap on the end, like silicone or rubber.

The globe was packaged very well, but had a minor issue when we got it. I contacted Alpine customer service and they were super fast to respond and very helpful with sending out a replacement.My wife loved it for a birthday gift, It reflects so much light it even looks good when it's overcast. This picture is on a overcast evening at 1930.

This gazing ball will be the talk in your garden with the different plots on the ball and how the sun makes this gazing ball stand out! The gazing ball will fit in mosts stands and there is a black plastic cap pn the bottom of this gazing ball keeping out bugs,insects and dirt. Very pleased with this purchase!

This gazing ball is better than I had expected. When placed near a flat wall like a fence, the mirrors of the ball cast colour. I have had many compliments on this addition to our garden.I added small foam strips to the wrought iron holder I owned just to ensure it wouldn't fall.We had a series of serious rain falls with the significant wind the gazing ball remains in tact.( We had used bent wire hangers as a lasso over the footings into the ground).It is beautiful!
