The protector itself is very thin and light. Covering of the upper back is minimal and leaves much to be desired. The straps are help in place by a proprietary clasp. This is fine unless something happens to a strap. A-stars will not sell or offer a replacement strap.

Best feature is its light weight yet protective.u dont feel it as if u r wearing nothin.i know its old generation model but i like it.add on feature of kidney and tail bone protector is nice .
