I installed this alternator on my 2011 Honda Odyssey after receiving the dreaded "check charge system" notification. This replaced a refurbished alternator I purchased at AutoZone two years ago. I will break down my review into a few categories:1. Cost: First off, this thing is cheap. $100 for a new alternator cant be beat. Go to any auto store and you will pay $200-400 for a refurbished alternator, or Honda will charge $500+ for an original part.2. Appearance: The alternator looks solid. It doesn't look cheap and plastic-y.3. Installation: Fit like a glove. If you've ever installed an alternator into an Odyssey, some 3rd party alternators are a little too thick to fit into the bottom grove (where the bottom bolt goes through). This one had no issue, and didn't require filing.4. Function: I worried about the noise. My refurbished alternator I purchased two years ago had a loud "Vrrr" noise when the car was idling and the alternator kicked in. Honestly, it was actually distracting when parked in a small garage. This one had no issue. It is quiet and works flawlessly. I have driven the car for ~1000 miles now, and I have experienced no issue so far. We will see how long it lasts, but for the price, I am quite pleased.TLDR: a cheap alternator can be a gamble, but this one was a steal. Get it.

Today is now 2/7/25 and this alternator turned out to be defective. We went through 2 batteries since 12/24. We thought the batteries were the issue but turns out it was a faulty alternator. Can’t exchange, has no warranty so there went 80 out the window.

Installed into 2012 Odyssey and fitted perfectly. So far everything is working as expected. Check charging light is off and battery charging. Price is best.Will update later if any but I am hoping it will last.

Products works and it fit in 2011 Honda odyssey and it is a little noisy compare to the original alternator. However, it does not come with a nut.

Was skeptical at first due to pricing but so far it hasn’t given us any issues in our odyssey. Put over 1000 miles on it. Fit perfectly, make sure to smash the bushing back to where it belongs on the engine mount where the alternator mounts before installing the new alternator. Makes life so much easier.

I'm really surprised that I can purchase a new alternator for under 100 dollars that actually works well. I put this on myself. The dealership wanted over 1500 dollars to do this job. It cost me about 100 bucks and a Saturday.
