It fits perfectly on my 2019 Ram 3500. You'd think Ram could have come up with something like this, having designing the DEF and Diesel fill intakes so close to each other. The magnet is a nice feature. It can be placed nearby when filling up.

It's not inexpensive, but seems to be a quality made part, seals well and securly. It sticks firmly to the fuel door when fueling. Nothing not to like!

I had low hopes for this but I was pleasantly surprised. Fits perfectly, and I love that you can press and twist it into place so you're not just relying on a o-ring and a magnet to keep it on. We drive off road a LOT because our Ram is a farm truck that does actual truck things, so something to keep the dirt, dust, snow, rocks, hay, grain chaff, and random nosy mules out is pretty awesome. I'm gonna order a second one for when this invariably gets snagged by somebody.

Cap fits 2022 RAM 2500 perfectly. I did not like the cheap red piece of plastic cover RAM provided and I did not like how the filler neck was exposed except for the spring loaded flapper, enter this cap. It is very well made and the magnet in the back is a great feature. After reading several reviews of people saying it is too long and pushes the flapper in, I have to disagree. It does push the flapper in when installed, however, it appears that is intentionally part of the design. This cap orients using the 3 protruding bars in the filler neck. If you look at the cap the side two slots are machined in a way that allows them to twist and there is a "pocket" at the end to catch the bar (the middle bar is just machined open and not part of the retention design). What appears to be happening is the cap is inserted and opens the flapper just barely. This creates spring tension on the cap that after twisted and released the two bars in the filler neck (as they stop just prior to the flapper) are tensioned into the machined "pockets" and thereby creates positive retention on the cap. This cap is well made and I believe it will last a very long time or at least until I forget to stick it to the fuel door with the magnet and leave it on a pump.
