I installed this on my 2010 ford edge and it fit perfectly. I replaced the old cap that was over 5 years old. This replacement gas cap works great and it was easy to install and has a wonderful seal on it. It is much smoother to click into place and have no issues whatsoever! A++ great Item!

Replaced my OEM cap with this one. The hole on the gas door where the plastic line attaches to hold the cap had to be hogged out to 1/4†to for it to fit into. The line then ended up being a tad short so when the cap is installed correctly, the gas door will not open all the way as you unscrew it. It’ll break I’m sure, so I’ll probably use paracord to repair that .

This gas cap was a complete waste of money. The only good thing I can say about it is it was cheap. It was supposed to be a direct replacement for the original cap on my 2000 Cadillac DeVille but it was not. The tether fitting that attaches to the gas lid was larger than the original and I had to increase the hole diameter in the lid. The tether attachment at the cap was very tight and did not slip freely. The tether broke off at the cap end on the first day.

Perfect replacement for most GM vehicles. Looks and works just like OEM. Has the proper markings and the locking strap as well. Clicks nice and loud when you lock the cap and overall worth the money. Hope it lasts!

Perfect fit for my Honda Pilot. Old plastic wire broke. This one plugged in perfectly.
