I used these to hold a pair of long cotter pins that hold two finished 2x4 wood pieces in a choice of positions. The pins are 3/8" steel, with a small pressure ball at one end and a ring at the other. I feared that the ball would, over time enlarge a 3/8" hole in the 2x4s so that the pin would start sliding out on its own. So I drilled 1/2" holes and used these sleeves. Worked liked a charm (although inserting and removing the pins requires some additional force). To date, repeated pulling out and pushing in the pins has left no trace on the indide surfaces of these sleeves. Very pleased with the result!

Precisely made and fit is perfect for 3/8" ID bearings. The package size (100) was more than needed but was acceptable. Packaging and delivery time was good.
