This motor is a great replacement for the factory original. The only thing, is since it must be oriented with sprocket on the right, the wires come out of the motor in the rear, making the wires a bit tight for routing/connecting through the battery compartment. But, definitely can be done.

I purchased an old Razor e300 V1 at a local thrift store. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, so my goal was to hot-rod it a bit and convert it to 36v. With the V1 being so old, I wanted a fresh motor to work with. Thus, I purchased this one and several others off of Amazon. This was the only one that fit cleanly into the factory motor mounts. It has been several months of running at 36v and I've had no problems with this motor.
