Absolutely love this! We don't use our fireplace and I wanted something a little nicer to put in front of the glass doors. This fits perfectly and looks so nice, especially with our screens going for close to $100. The legs fit flush against our existing insert, which is 36 in wide. It looked better without the legs in my opinion, but we have clumsy dogs who tumble around, so the legs stayed on for stability.

I've bought this twice over the years. It's a nice decorative screen in front of my electric logs in the fireplace, very light weight. That said I recently just ordered a new one and although the overall height is the same the actual screen is a good 2 inches shorter than previous and it now has taller legs. I preferred my original with the shorter legs and larger screen as is covers better. If I was burning real wood I would be concerned about sparks escaping underneath. The old panel was approximately 29" without the legs and the new is approximately 27".

This item, while visually pleasing, is cheaply made and arrived missing screws and damaged.The screw thing isn’t a big deal because I have a ton of extra screws, but when I went to put it together, I noticed how a few of the holes didn’t line up.Okay, not a deal breaker, I can try to make it work.Nope. Even after I triple checked that I had the panels oriented correctly, I couldn’t get the holes to fully line up because of some messy welding joints.Then, upon further inspection, noticed how dented and scratched the screen material was.My suspicion is that was from the packaging job.This thing was so tightly packed in this box with minimal packaging material to protect it that there was no feasible way for this thing to not be damaged.I don’t know what I expected for something under 50 bucks, but I guess it was something a little better than what I got.
