I’ve used facemasks extensively over the years (even before the events of 2020), but none, I SAY NONE, I feel compare to Old Glory which I recently purchased.In the past, I’ve bought cheaper, nylon facemasks, but never again!For starters, Old Glory is soooo soft, I guess because of the high quality feeling microfiber it’s made from. And an additional benefit is that it makes it easy to breathe through, unlike the old el cheapo nylon ones. I’ve worn it so far in the cold shoveling snow, and in the bitter cold when riding the motorcycle in the winter, and I do have to say it’s the warmest my face has ever felt in either of those situations.One other feature which I don’t know how they do, is that there are NO IRRATATING SEAMS! It’s just one round continuous looking piece of microfiber. It must be magic!!I’m looking forward to using it this Summer on long motorcycle rides, as it has “full spectrum UV†protection, which makes this an all season facemask!If you’re still in doubt, check out Indie Ridge’s “Live Free Guaranteeâ€â€¦ You’ll see that they are obviously proud of the products they’re putting out there!Giving this one a 5 star rating…well-earned and deserved!

The first thing I noticed concerning this facemask was how unbelievably soft the material is!Considering the current pandemic issues the world has been going through I've been having to wear A LOT of masks lately and most if not all of them have been fairly uncomfortable. Not this mask! It's adequately stretchable so that it doesn't feel like it's suffocating you while you wear it and the material feels wonderful on your face.The quality of the material has been top tier as well. I wear a modular full face helmet while riding my motorcycle, so I obviously move the chin bar around a lot. I haven't had any kind of pilling or thread tear from getting caught on the helmet or anything. There were not hanging threads, everything is knit tight.Aesthetically the mask is beautiful. Most of the time when you purchase an item like this they doctor the thumbnails and photos to be more vibrant than the actual product, but I believe the real item is leaps and bounds better. All the colors are vibrant and stand out.A nice touch is the bag they ship this thing in to you. It's 100% reusable. Not just some plastic piece of trash that you'll pile into the garbage like everything else.This is more of a 2 to 3 season mask if you're wearing it on a motorcycle. It's decent at cutting some wind and I'll wear it for spring, summer, and early fall.

I use this gator for motorcycle riding in SWFL. Very comfortable, lightweight, breathable, great fit, love the design. I have a quick release chin strap on my helmet, when I buckle my strap it holds the gator in place if I have my power windshield down. Great product. Highly recommend!

Originally intended for motorcyclists to wear under their helmets for extra warmth, the Indie Ridge line of masks are also perfect to wear when hiking outdoors. They help to block a lot of pollen and dust, reducing the severity of allergy symptoms. Given their construction out of strong fabric and double-stitched hems (honestly, there are T-shirts out there made out of flimsier material), these are masks that will last a very long time. I've bought similar-looking masks from other vendors and of those I have tried, the Indie Ridge masks are the best-constructed.The heavier material does mean that if you're hiking around on a warmer day, you are going feel hotter. While breathable, wearing any fabric over your mouth and nose for an extended period means that you're not going to breath as easily as without any covering. So, be prepared for that. This isn't an issue if you're wearing this while riding a dirt bike, but it is an issue if you're riding a 10-speed bike. When you don't need to keep your face covered, you can easily pull this down for a scarf/ascot look under your jacket. The mask will stay on your face pretty well once you get the hang of adjusting it; it helps if you are wearing glasses or sunglasses.The Old Glory pattern on my mask is a wraparound design, meaning that there aren't 13 stripes as on a real American Flag. The blue section repeats on the back of the mask. I chose this pattern because both Memorial Day and the Fourth of July were upcoming at the time I bought it and if I have to wear a mask outdoors it may as well fit the season!I can't imagine this mask wearing out anytime soon, but if it did I would definitely buy again from Indie Ridge.

I usually like to wait a few weeks before reviewing a product on Amazon. I bought this for a quick trip to the store given the current pandemic. I also wanted something to protect me from the sun/wind/dust and I use it outside for athletic activities (running, playing sports, exercising); so it needed to be lightweight. This mask stands up to all of those expectations. The build quality is excellent. The stitching has remained well in-tact after washing. I wash this every time I use it. I've used the face cover about 30 times now. The colors are still as vibrant as when it was first shipped and the product still fits. Finally, I was worried about the elasticity, but it's still very tight to my face. It has stretched some, but it fits just fine. Very happy with this product and the really cool graphic too!

I've had skin cancer twice in the same general area. Left cheek and my nose. Either I didn't use strong enough SPF or not enough of it. I bought this mainly for motorcycle riding, but also for outdoor activities. So far, so good. It stays in place better than I thought it would. Being breathable, my sunglasses don't fog (which really surprised me). Only down side that I've found so far is that I have a full beard. Whenever I turn my head, it tends to slide out of place. Minor issue, but still kinda irritating. All in all, it seems to be a good purchase. I'm waiting to see what kind of goofy looking sun tan I get...LOL
