I've been using the high profile toilets for the last few years as they are much easier on the knees to get up from for most of us oldsters. One of the things that sets this apart besides the good look is the outer design which does not expose the bolts to water or dirt. The word "dirt" is relative here, but you get what I mean. I had another toilet that the bolts rusted off recently. It's a pain to reach down under, scrub around, and remove the porcelain boot caps to keep clean. Not to mention the normal indentation of a toilet base has areas that have to be scrubbed down. The smooth transition, and the access ports to the bolt are hidden from the outside exposure to toilet use. The smooth outside is easy to clean, and gives a better cleaner look over most toilet bowls. It's a little trickier to install, but since I pay to have that done, no biggie. Recommended.

Gives our bathroom a more modern look. Out with the old and in with the new. We have moved the old one into the guest bathroom as it still has plenty of life left in it. But we wanted a more modern look in ours and this one looks very upscale. The instructions were informative and easy to read and understand and the pictures helped me immediately with setup and installation. With the lower half covering the plumbing it has a more streamlined look that’s more modern without the functional look to it. We have a bidet that’s made for a elongated toilet that was on the old one that fit perfectly with this new one. The seat that came with the new toilet is one that slowly goes down with a very smooth action till its seated. It also went onto the older toilet as it also was elongated and the colors matched perfectly. Plus it ready perked up its looks as well. This studio S toilet flushed awesomely with what seems like a three gallon reservoir but uses only about one point two eight gallons per flush and since we pay for water the savings will be noticeable on our water bill. Love the color as it’s easy to see when it needs cleaning and it makes the bathroom look bigger somehow. It also was the same height as the old so very comfortable when sitting. We are satisfied with the quality and the functionality and how it makes our bathroom look just a bit more modern than it actually is. Four Stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸!!!

I ordered the American Standard Studio toilet and we are so pleased with it.It’s a gorgeous toilet. We love the contemporary design with the skirted sides that conceal the traps and bolts. It’s just such a great look. It looks so modern and sleek that we decided to splurge on a tub to match.The toilet is elongated and also sits high so it is very comfortable to use.It has a slow close lid which is great. This is the first slow close lid that we’ve had.It has a high efficiency flush at just 1.28 gpf.⛵⚓Seas the Day⚓⛵

Our home is a bit of a mix of styles. We have a wrap-around porch but like some more modern elements that lean more towards a transitional style.When I came across this toilet I was excited because it leans slightly more towards a modern style but still looks like a classic toilet with the tank on the top and a normal lever for flushing.Installation is a little trickier since the skirt goes all the way to the bottom requiring you to squeeze your hand behind to tighten the bolts.We really like the height of the toilet. I'm not going to say I'm getting older but since I work out 4-5 times a week my legs regularly feel like they are beyond my years. Having the "Right Height" is a big help.Overall I'm very pleased with the "American Standard 226AA104.020 Studio S Right Height Elongated Toilet with Seat - Left Hand Trip Lever, White".

The bottom skirt covers up the trap on this toilet from American Standard. There will not be a lower area that needs periodic cleaning as on a standard toilet. The look is clean and simple. I like the design. Behind the skirt however are the looks of a standard toilet. All the normal design parts are still there.Installation takes a bit more finesse as you have less visibility and places to grab and hold maneuver the bowl. It is heavier too. You will need to be able to get a wrench in from the side access holes in order to tighten the flange bolts. The tank is also a little trickier to install as you have to reach behind and around the rear skirt in order to reach the tank-to-bowl mounting bolts. However after the installation is complete it looks great and performs equally well. 5 stars.
