once installed by parrish services technician (i paid him to come and install it) it sounded like the public bathrooms whoosh toilets, it flushes everything…that is what i wanted, we were always having flushing, clogging, slow fill, no fill issues with the old toilet, this one is fabulous. after discussing the issue with the plumber from parrish services, he suggested a pressure assisted toilet would solve all my problems and yes it has. light touch to flush, the toilet comes in 2 boxes and includes everything except a toilet seat. once installed it was off to working perfectly.thank you american standard for making such a product and all toilets should be made like this, this is a powerful toilet.

This is a great toilet for a household that is routinely using the plunger. It has been in use for about 5 months now. With my old toilet the kids clogged it almost daily. With this new toilet, I may have pulled out the plunger 5 times, if that.ProsPowerful, fast flushNo more plunger!!!!Easy to installLess flushing = saves waterConsNoisier that standard toilet, but not excessively so.Installation NotesI purchased the Fenco wax free toilet seal from my local big box hardware store. This was a breeze to use. No worries if the wax flange sealed OK. If you do not know your sewage pipe size, I suggest buying both the 3" and 4" sizes before hand, and returning the unused item. When I first installed the toilet, the water kept running and running. After LOTS of troubleshooting, it was a simple fix. The screws that connected the flush rod to the reservoir were tightened down too much at the factory. Unscrewing a quarter turn fixed the problem. No stars taken off.

The toilet works great. However, the gasket between the tank and toilet bowl is defective. the toilet sprays water all over my floor each time it is flushed. waited 30 minutes of the phone to talk to American Standard warranty people. the representative said they would send a replacement in 7-10 days. It has been about three weeks, and no replacement gasket. you cannot buy the gasket from third parties. not happy.update: I gave up waiting for the replacement gasket, and emailed their parts desk asking for the part number so I could buy one. no response from the parts desk. I guessed at the part number, ordered it, and the new gasket showed up a week later. it was the correct part. I noted in replacing the gasket that one needs to carefully align it with tank.

I bought this for my husband who was famous for taking several flushes to ever get anything to clear and often flooding the toilet as a result. The packing was great very secure and safe nothing broke or chipped. The installation was very easy, ensrue you buy a wax ring it does not come with one. It is not ridiculously loud, but louder than a normal toilet. It has only taken one flush to move everything successfully, FINALLY! the only small note for women....if you are only throwing in toilet paper aim for the back, dropping near the front wont make it go down as there are no water jets up there.. overall very happy with this purchase and will be buying a second.. (there was recently a recall on this model for the jet in back, but it only requires a fix it solution and not sending the whole toilet back. one HUGE blow for this order, was I bought it as a prime purchase with guranteed shipping during XMAS time, what Amazon failed to tell you was that with the weight it required third party shipping which delayed the shipment and additionally required to make an appoitment time to have it delvivered and they only delivered one day a week .. that being said my two day shiiping took a month!! Be aware!!

Although it the seat is higher ( easier to get off & on) and has the power flush & self-clean ( the self-clean part leaves a lot to be desired) you stillhave to clean the bowl, build up is not nearly as bad as a reg. commode)The toilet appears to have a tough time flushing down the tissue, the water only comes down on one side, thus if tissue is on other side of commodeit won't always carry it down. The power flush works great, but it is loud but only for a few seconds, because of high pressure. The floor ( 0) ring works great and you don't have to worry about movement. The power seat (toto) brand is quieter than a mouse & works in the up position as well (the last couple of inches)Home depot doesn't offer but a few w/power flush, my old toilet was gravity feed that I wanted away from. Have read that (power flush) can damage pipes because of pressure, this house was built in 1972--no problems yet.Is it or was it worth it-if your old toilet is working You can always put a couple of jars in tank to save water If you have a high water bill.the newer toilets are a lot nicer in design & function, efficiency even w/the gravity flush type I had to get one that didn't sit on the floor (bad back, bad legs) might as well dug a cat hole.PLEASE read specs on all toilets, what they can & can't do.This toilet cost me $400.00 plus another $100 for a friend that is a pro plumber. Seat & wax ring included.I like it getting more used to it very day!

Works so well for an upstairs bathroom in an old house with very poor water pressure. So happy to have found this option!

What a great toilet. Per the reviews, this is a toilet that actually flushes and is a powerful flush. The only down-side is, you have to get used to the noise it makes.
