Love this machine. Cleans great. So far I have cleaned my dentures, glasses and my jewelry. Everything comes out sparkling. We'll worth the purchase. Can't go wrong with this little machine.

This is the second ultrasonic cleaner I've acquired for my TMJ splint. The first one that I had, I loved but it died and even though they were replacing it... it took forever and I missed it. I decided to try this one. I was hoping the size would be more ideal for cleaning make-up brushes, but no.... too small for that. It's just a weird size, I guess truly for jewelry cleaning. Not what I need it for. Not sure how much jewelry cleaning people do that they need an ultrasonic cleaner. I have a TMJ splint that I wear 24-hours, except when I eat and when i'm brushing my teeth or it's being cleaned... so it needs to be cleaned good.The biggest issue I have with this particular cleaner is the cable is very difficult to unhook from the back of the device and the amount of condensation that collects on the inside of the lid. They make a very big point, for this thing to not not be submerged or have water running over the exterior of the device. Well, it's very difficult to get the dirty water emptied out and it refilled due to the size and difficulty of the cable (it really wants to stay stuck in the device). There is a lot of condensation that collects on the inside of the lid that you have to continually wipe off, or it runs and drips everywhere when you open the lid. Of which, the instructions specifically make mention to be sure to wipe all water off of the exterior and the inside of the lid.I'm not exaggerating when I say I use a glass to fill the tank with water each time I need to clean my TMJ Splint. It's a bit ridiculous. Not to mention, the size of the thing is a bit large and you can't even fit make-up brushes in it. Too large for smaller vanities of smaller restrooms. I just don't have the room for it for daily use, too much other stuff I need to have out. The other ultrasonic cleaner I use is much smaller than this thing, easily half the size.The make of this feels pretty cheap. I feel like it's going to break, every time I try to remove the cable. It's just not a quality build. No idea how long it will last and I'm not really going to sit around and find out. I'm keeping it, but only as a back-up device for when my main one dies again. That replacement finally came in and this one is going back in the box to sit on a shelf and it will only be used if necessary (the other one dies, I find some other reason to use it (clean other things) and etc).

The default setting for this is 180 seconds, but even with a bit of alcohol and water, I needed a full 480 seconds to clean my earrings, and probably could have used even more. For something with more settings, like a jeweled rings, or such, it'd probably take many passes. I don't like that the metal insert is irremovable, making the process of dumping out the water a pain. Did give the sparkle back on my usually worn gems though, didn't even realize they'd gotten so dull until after I pulled them out.

My mind is blown! Its been several years since I cleaned my engagement ring and I was debating getting it professionally cleaned but that's so expensive so I figured why not try this in case it does a good enough job for way less money and...WOW!!!I cleaned it once with some dish soap added, on the shortest cleaning cycle and the water was dirty after and there was some debris that had been removed off my ring so then I replaced the water with new clean water and more dish soap and ran it on the longest setting and the water turned out even dirtier with even more debris!Needless to say, after both cycles, my ring looked LITERALLY brand new. I just couldn't even believe it, I thought this had a very high likelihood of being expensive yet cheap, hoaky, gimmicky, useless garbage and it wound up being so amazing and saving me so much money in jewelry cleaning.My husband was amazed at the difference and asked if I would clean his ring and chain in it and after one of the longest cycles they took came out absolutely good as new, sparkly clean GORGEOUS!

Got this both for my wife's jewelry and for my sleep moth guard for my TMJ. It works quite well for her jewelry, easily getting the built up lotion, soap residue, etc off in one cycle. So far it's a little less effective than I'd like on my mouth guard, but admittedly it had a lot of build-up in it from me not being as dilligent in keeping it clean as I should be. Overall I'd recommend the cleaner
