This beach umbrella is well made, provides a nice size area of shade, and stays in place because of the anchoring system. The screw-anchor digs into the sand and is large enough to get into the packed sand. The included T-handle piece allows you to get the leverage needed to screw the anchor for a strong hold and the cross-pin and cam-screws securely hold the pole sections together and to the sand anchor. The setup allows you to easily rotate the umbrella so that the umbrella points in the needed direction when tilted. I used this umbrella on a couple of days with 12-15 mph winds (gusts as high as 23 mph) and it handled the conditions without any problems and held firmly in the sand.

Great umbrella. Just used it at the Gulf Coast beach and was amazed that it withstood 10 to 12 mph or more winds. It was easy to assemble and place in sand.

Good size umbrella covers 1-2 people at the beach. Easy to screw into the sand and stays securely except in high winds where nothing works. Pretty colors

Used it twice now, including very windy conditions. Performed perfectly. All components are very sturdy. Best feature: the super heavy duty screw-in base that's totally separate from the rest of the umbrella. You can really put a lot of weight on it and get it deep into hard-packed sand before you attach the umbrella to it.One of the biggest mistakes I've seen people make with these screw bases is they just start screwing it into the soft-packed surface sand. That sand is too soft and the slightest amount of wind will dislodge the umbrella. To avoid that, the first thing you do is scrape away the first several inches of loose surface sand until you get to the hard-packed wet sand underneath. Then you insert and screw in the base as deep as you can into that hard sand.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We’ve only had the chance to use this once so far, but it’s impressive! Not only is it visually appealing, but it also held up beautifully against a breezy day at the beach. The design is well thought out—installing it was a breeze thanks to the sturdy ground pole that screws into the sand effortlessly with the help of the cross pole. Overall, a great product that combines both style and functionality!

This umbrella is sturdily constructed and easily assembled. Have had no problems with it leaning because of winds or being uprooted and blowing away. It may be a little heavier than the flimsy beach umbrella you're using now, but the extra quality is worth it. It's 3 pieces, so it takes an additional 30 seconds to put it in place. The carry bag is wide enough to fit all 3 pieces. Highly recommended.
