This was great at the beach but don't get to close to the shore because the wind from the water made the umbrella go straight up like in the movies lol.

I snagged three of these before the season. They were cheaper than the listing price now. I've had one on my back porch for about two months now and it hasn't faded nor ripped. I have it in a stand and the pole is screwed in place but truly...I paid 15 bucks a piece for these and you can't beat it. My outside animals needed a bit of shade here and there and this was well worth the price.Is it the same value of the 40 or 60 buck umbrellas? No. Does it function? Yes. I'm happy.Some of the reviews are really negative about damage and whatnot but truly, things are damaged in shipping and that is not Amazon nor the vendor's fault. Also, if the wind is blowing hard and you leave this up, it's going to blow over like any other umbrella under the sun.

This umbrella is the worst purchase I have made on Amazon. We took this to the beach, dug it into the sand…. It stayed in the sand okay, at first, but was nothing compared to the thicker umbrella posts. It was a bit windy the day we used it, and the umbrella kept falling over. That wasn’t totally surprising, giving how small the diameter of the post it had. When trying to put the umbrella back up, the wind blew it inside out. Okay… this happens with umbrellas. Trying to fix it back, the wire attachments started popping off every attachment point. No way to reattach. The cap on the top fell off. Not sure how it was attached originally, or if it was just set on and crammed in a box. Within five minutes of trying to flip the umbrella back to the correct side, every single attachment had come undone. So, I am left with a giant piece of useless fabric, and the bones of the umbrella, which I am STILL struggling to get to face the right way, only to make it easier to cram the whole thing in the garbage. Complete waste of money, and complete embarrassment is all that this umbrella provided. No shade, but it gave no shade.

This is the least expensive, lightest weight, sun protection umbrella for the beach I could find. This umbrella has proven to be the best value for my money. It is lightweight in a handy carrier case and I loved the sun protection. I used a different separate anchor, shaped like a giant screw which I could angle to prevent wind from blowing it over. This umbrella pole fits inside perfectly and provides a screw to tighten it securely to the added anchor. The trick is to insert it deep enough and it stays put in the afternoon breeze without blowing over. I learned and will try next time to bring my battery drill with extended auger bit to “Drill†sand as I insert umbrella pole to see if it can be inserted on its own deep enough to not blow over. I cannot attest to the umbrella standing on its own accord with the thin pole in the ocean breeze. I think i will try to insert pole depth at least 12inches to see if will not blow over. All in all I would give it a ðŸ‘.

Un poco corto de altura, pero cumple bien su función, me gusta que puedes inclinar la sombrilla para mejorar el ángulo de la sombra.
