These bookends were purchased for an outdoor enthusiast. Perfect - natural yet very nicely finished. Plenty heavy enough. Good looking.

Ordered a set for my cousin's bridal shower but ended up returning those and ordering a second time to try and get a better set. The first set we got was pretty, but there was a SIGNIFICANT size difference between the 2 rocks, and they honestly looked like they did not come from the same rock! Coloration was the same, but the way the layers went and the sides the rough/rock side was on, there's no way they came from the same stone. We returned, got a second set and that one was MUCH better. So just be aware and send back for an alternative if needed!

This product is great for bookending paper backed books, A5 tablets, and journals. Of course, you gotta like agate or it's just a pair of rocks. Don't ask this set to keep larger books in place - the rock halves simply aren't large or heavy enough. A5 size is actually pushing your luck. The rocks I got are a nice, slightly understated functional decoration.

I was really excited to receive these bookends. Based on the photos I was expecting to receive polished agate bookends with beautiful geodes to see inner crystal formations. Instead I received 2 very filthy rocks. After picking up just one of the bookends both my hands were covered in a thick layer of dirt. It did not wash off easily and required minimal scrubbing; it was disgusting. The bookends were not polished and had multiple scratches. I’m flabbergasted that these bookends made it past quality control; if it even exists. These bookends were very low quality and an overall inferior product. I’m so disappointed. By the way I ordered the black set and they were not remotely black at all. Instead they were a dark brown color. There was no character or geodes/inclusions. They arrived heavily scuffed and dirty. After calling Amazon for a refund I promptly threw them away. I did not want to track such filth/dirt in my home. These bookends were a huge disappointment. I used to love the products sold by this seller but lately their quality or I should say lack thereof is deteriorating rapidly.

I like them and I think they look beautiful. Unfortunately one side is a little wonky and won't stand on its own. But once I get it balanced it doesn't take much for it to fall over.

Wanted to use a rock to hold my DVDs up, figured a geode would look best, and they doComes with little plastic stickies to make them non-stop too
