I use these non-slip, strong, almost invisible bookends on books of various sizes within my long expanses of bookshelves. They are in use with every size book and because they are non-slip, very sturdy, and practically invisible on the bookshelf, I can place them both at the ends and interspersed between a run of heavier books within the row if needed. For a decorative effect, I often place a decorative bookend, plant, or framed photo at the end of the row of books so everything is beautiful AND safe.

I did not order these for books, but to help reorganize my video game collection. The not skid bottoms are very good at exactly that, not skidding. The weighting allowing you to not lose space to the heel of the book end is fantastic. These items are very sturdy and a little bit thicker than I had anticipated, which is a good thing. The clear, acrylic look allows the collection to take center stage, as it should.I will need one if not two more additional pairs of these, and am very happy to know they are here, thanks to my Wife, and that they are readily available and excellent quality.

This is the second time I have purchased these simple bookends because I love them so much. They keep my books securely in place. The clear acrylic came plastic wrapped so arrived unscratched. The minimalist design is nonobtrusive on shelf or desk. They do not have felting or pads on the bottom, which I consider a plus as they can be used either vertically or horizontally.

Extremely sturdy, beautifully inconspicuous. The non-slip dots on the bottom add a lot if value. My only complaint is that the dots are unevenly placed, as it is obvious they were placed by hand rapidly without precision. Does it affect the product or overall look? Not really. But it detracts from the overall sleek effect.

These bookends do the job. They don't take up visual space and hold my cookbooks on my small bookshelf.

I like these for two reasons. 1.) you can see the cover of your book. 2.) The bottoms have four rubber feet that grip the shelf board and help hold the books in place.

Missing non-skid buttons. They're not "non-skid" as there are NO non-skid buttons on bottom. Also they're super light weight so don't plan on using for heavy or large load of books. Love that they're clear, but that's about it. Will put on my own non-skid buttons, but that is an extra cost. There are most likely better options for the money out there.
