When you get cataract surgery the doctor tapes a patch to your eye for the first 24 hours and you can't shower. The next day, the doctor takes off the patch and checks your eye to see if everything looks okay. If it does, then you may or may not have to wear a patch for the next week as needed.If you do need to wear a patch when you sleep, this one offers you a good option. It has a strap so you don't need to tape it on, and it's easy to take on and off as desired.

After cataract surgery you have to wear an eye shield when you sleep (for a week) and usually tape it to your face, awkward and uncomfortable. This eye shield is adequate size and is held on with an elastic head strap that's adjustable with a slider. It's comfortable and easy to put on. I'm not sure how well it's going to work when sleeping, I haven't tried it yet but I like the idea and hope it works. You get 2 shields, one for each eye as needed.
