A simple item to cap off an open female coax connection on my camper. Finish is good, they threaded on easily and I'm sure they'll last until I manage to lose one or two - but now I have a few extras!

These are used to "terminate" the open ports on coaxial signal splitters and such. It is actually required to do this for optimum signal transfer and quality on RF coaxial systems, but many people do not do this and sometimes everything still works OK. I use 75-ohm terminators like these on all the open ports of my RF coaxial systems and they work fine. Inside these is just a small 75-ohm resistance from the center conductor to the shield ground, not a lot of technology to do that task. Try these if you have a lot of splitters with unused ports in your coaxial cabling, it may help solve some "mystery" signal issues you could have.

My friend had his house rewired for cable. Guy used and 8 port bar for Comcast cables. Only four of 8 were used, four left open. Router needed restarting every few days to fix internet. Used these to convert unused connector ports. Now over a month without an issue.
