I bought the 6 month size and my son is big for his age; these shorts fit him when was wearing 3-6 months size and even still now that he is wearing 9-12! We’ll worth it and I love how soft and comfy they are for him.

I did initially order the 24 months and returned it to get 18 months. So I think it runs a little large. He wears these nearly every day!
