When it comes to mobile device charging and power supplies, Anker stands above all others. The only other brand I consider is Belkin, but Anker’s products are superior and usually less expensive. This stand does exactly what it is supposed to in the sturdiest and most compact and streamlined way. The MagSafe charging is Apple certified to the latest standard, which means you’ll get the fastest MagSafe charging available for your device, it operates flawlessly, and most importantly the base is heavy and the magnets are strong and hold the phone firmly without any tilting or sliding occurring. I use this in my office where it takes up very little space on a cluttered desk. This is the one without the watch charger, but I also have that one in my bedroom. Both are fantastic. Don’t waste money on flimsy chargers with non-MagSafe charging or outdated/unrated connector cables. Use the supplied cable and charger for best performance.

The stand is almost perfect. The magsafe is strong and my phone easily finds the sweet spot. The charger has a nice heft to it, and the excellent build quality I have come to expect from anker. It is made from plastic and metal but appear to be very good materials.The diameter of the base is about 3.75" which is nice and compact. The only adjustment is an narrow up/down for the phone angle which should cover anyone with a standing desk. It would be nice if the phone can move side-to-side but it's not a huge deal. Also the adjustment we do have is extremely smooth and high quality feeling. Hard to explain but there's no rattle or creaking like cheaper devices.There's a small inset area for the airpods case which makes it easy to find the charging sweet spot by feel.It charges my iPhone quickly. Same with my airpods. Two little white LEDs give us the charge status of each device. The LEDs are visible but not distracting in the dark.The only issue with this charger is that it's not heavy enough to counteract the strong magsafe magnets holding the phone in place. This makes it annoying to place the phone on and off with a single hand. In fact, when you try to remove the phone the only way you can do it with 1 hand without also lifting the charger is by tilting the phone all the way backwards until it "snaps" off the magnets. It's doable but requires some thought.The simple fix? I just used some gorilla mounting putty and stuck 10 tiny dots of it under the base of the charger (avoiding the charger's own silicone pad) and gently pressed it onto my desk. The putty is cheap, removable, and I promise you will find a dozen other uses for it around the house, haha. It also nicely keeps the charger in place. You can use any adhesive "tac" brand like uhu. You could also use double sided tape if you want a more permanent solution.So in summary, we have another high quality product from Anker. I rely on them for all my chargers and cables and they've yet to let me down.My advise to Anker is to include a few strips of removable adhesive with these chargers. It won't cost that much to include but will make the user experience much better!

At first, when browsing for a standing/magnetic desk charger I looked at this product and honestly didn’t think I would like it that much, I was looking for a different form factor and felt this design was too predictable and basic. However, after receiving a different magnetic charger, closer to the form factor I desired and being disappointed with it, I realized I was actually all-wrong about what I wanted. This form factor is actually perfect, fits even with my ESR metal kickstand mounted to the bottom of my phone. You can rotate to horizontal for the nightstand Lock Screen, watch notifications roll in hands free, and ultimately it blends in perfectly with my desk setup.Worth noting: this thing does not come with a charge brick, make sure you have a fast charger to go with this.The magnet is strong, you get a proper “clunk†and the official apple magnetic puck charginganimation, so you know it’s legit. Doesn’t overheat or anything silly like that. The stand stays put as you pull your phone away from the magnet (with a little bit of a tilt) making it easily usable with one hand—one of the main advantages for wireless charging afterall.Considering how well built and thought out this device is and the fact you can also charge your AirPods at the same time, I’d say it’s a fair value for the money. Would have been a steal if they included a charge brick!
