  • This sundial comes with an optional mounting bracket that can be affixed to the rear of the sundial. This allows the sundial to be used as a freestanding ornament indoors. Alternatively our large display stand is available separately for outdoor use

  • For our personalized text option, at the top of this page select the 'Personalized Text' or 'Large 10 Dial" size from the menu. Then select the yellow 'Customize Now' button and follow the instructions for creating your own bespoke sundial.

  • All of our standard text sundials and base custom sundials are 6¼" in diameter. This allows them to be safely used as in indoor ornament when used with the display bracket. We do also offer a larger 10" option on our custom text variants too.

  • For working sundial mount on our display stand pointing North, in a position outside that gets as much sunlight as possible throughout the day. Our sundials are configured to be accurate across northern USA, degrading in accuracy further Southwards.

  • We leave you very little to do!!! Just dust the sundial occasionally or use a damp cloth to wipe the dust off it. This is due to the protection of our special RP9 outdoor quality paint and then coated in two coats of super protective lacquer.

My anniversary is on Halloween, it is our 30th. I saw this product and it fit the theme (pearl) and years we have been together; it also is a timepiece, which is one of our hobbies (collecting clocks) So I found this to be a perfect gift.I was almost expecting that it would not arrive on time as shipping had expected delivery between Oct. 25th and Nov. 4th. I was shocked when I got a call from our front desk letting me know I had a package and low and behold my gift was already here, even though tracking info shows it in process.Thank You MetalFoundry for getting my package to me early and removing my anxiety. Not a bad piece. The size is perfect for a curio cabinet. I’m rather disappointed with the splotches of paint on the back and on some of the ridges on the front. I hope my case is the exception.

This sundial looks amazing! It is quite an impressive personalized gift as it is not just engraved but actually cast with the letters being raised in solid brass. It is definitely sturdy and has some weight to it considering it's size. I am really looking forward to giving her this on our anniversary.
